Hydraulic Fracturing (Fracking)
Description | This course introduces the history, basic science, and equipment used in hydraulic fracking. The Marcellus and other key shale gas formations in Pennsylvania will be discussed. This course includes a review of lessons learned. It also discusses the evolving nature of technology.
Objective | Upon completion of the course, participants will have reviewed geotechnical concepts and be able to appreciate these concepts associated with the Fracking system.
