Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law (BIL)

Description | With the passage of the Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law, Pennsylvania will receive a significant increase in Federal funding for Highway and Bridge infrastructure. The presentation will focus on the “New” Federal funding coming to Pennsylvania, how it will be distributed to Metropolitan and Rural Planning Organizations, and the opportunities for the engineering community. The many “New” Discretionary Grant Programs that are part of BIL will also be highlighted, as these will provide the potential for additional funding and opportunities in Pennsylvania.

Objectives |  Upon completion of the course, participants will have an understanding of the amount of new federal highway, the Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Law New Discretionary programs,  and bridge funds are available and how funds are allocated and programmed.
